I'm using Soarce on Soarce. This page shows where it started, what I changed, and what the re-scans find.
Oct 2, 2026: the baseline
I scanned my own site with questions buyers ask about AI visibility tools. Soarce was recommended in 0 of 224 answers.
- ChatGPT: 0 of 86
- Google AI Mode: 0 of 46
- Gemini: 0 of 46
- Perplexity: 0 of 46
The assistants recommended these tools instead, out of the same 224 answers: Profound 109, Peec AI 75, Semrush 73, Otterly.AI 70. They cited 10 lists. Profound was on 8 of the 10.
What I changed on Oct 2
- Added a sitemap.
- Added an llms.txt file.
- Added structured data to every page.
- Wrote 7 guides and comparisons.
- Pitched the editors of the lists the assistants cited.
Next checks
- Nov 2, 2026: re-scan at 30 days, an early read.
- Dec 2, 2026: re-scan at 60 days, the real comparison.
Lists and AI answers take about 8 weeks to catch up, so I don't expect much at 30 days. I'll post both results here.
